Indications and dosage

INDICATIONS

For the dietary management of infants and children with chronic renal disease and other disorders of renal function. It also can be an alternative for diseases with increased energy, vitamins, and minerals requirements, such as; chronic respiratory disease, chronic heart disease and severe malnutrition.

RECOMMENDED DAILY DOSE

Can be used as a sole source of nutrition from the 1st to the 6th month or as part of a diversified diet from the 6th month onwards.
The amount per intake and the number of daily intakes will be determinated by the pediatrician or the health professional who monitors each baby based on his or her specific growth and developmental needs.

How to use

Add 4 level spoonfuls of powder (20 g) into 90 ml of water:

For feeding bottle:

  1. Clean the feeding bottle, nipple and screw and let them boil with water in a closed container for 10 minutes.
  2. Boil drinking water and let it cool down to a temperature. Pour the appropriate amount of water into the sterilized bottle or cup.
  3. Add to the feeding bottle the level measures of powdered milk indicated by medical prescription.
  4. Close the feeding bottle and shake it until its content is completely dissolved.

For Sip Feeding:

  1. Add a small amount of water to required amount of powder in a sterile container and stir with a fork until smooth paste is obtained.
  2. Stir vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved.

Conservation: Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened, the product must be consumed within a maximum period of one month.
